Triangle UFO Spotted By Police Officer

This story was recently sent to us by a reader.

I was on your web site tonight. It was given to me by a friend. I love it! I added it to my favorites list.
I was looking at the sightings page and read about your triangle sighting. Me and my brother have seen it too, so, I thought I would share it with you.

It was in 1986, right on the outskirts of Sikeston, Missouri. (U.S.A) It was on a Friday night and me, my brother and some friends were parked right outside of town near the power plant hanging out. The power plant puts off a lot of light at night. While sitting on the tail gate of my pick-up, I looked up and saw this HUGE craft slowly coming over the powerplant, Right over it! Barely clearing the smoke stacks. I got everyone's attention to it. It was the size of 3 football fields and dark grey. It was tubular, hollow in the middle, no windows, no exhaust, no jets, propellers or any thing. Totally silent. My brother said "That's the biggest balloon I have ever seen!". I pointed out though that it hadn't propellers or fans and no signs of a heat source!

The more we looked at it the more we realized that it was not of our world. It continued to move out of town slowly, so we jumped in our vehicles and followed it out into the countryside. As soon as it was outside of town a very bright light came on, on each corner. We followed it for about 30 minutes. At times we were right underneath it and it was tree-top high! We talked about it tonight and neither one of us remember how it left or how much longer after the 30 minute ride that we kept following it. Even though the sighting is burned into our brains, the end of it still seems blank. Like it has been erased from our memories.

About a year later our uncle , who is with the county sheriffs department, spotted the same craft. He said he called all of the airports in a 50 mile range and none of them were picking it up on radar! So, it felt good to have someone in his position to see it too!

Well, that's all I can remember right now. If you can shed any light on this for us we would greatly appreciate it.
Keep up the good work on your site! You can bet that I am passing it on to everyone in my U.F.O. chat room!

Sincerely,

James Collier
